PACER

Price discovery on a schedule.

Pacer is an issuance clock for Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve launches. Supply is released at a rate the creator publishes up front, so no wallet can buy the curve in one block and the price forms over minutes or hours instead.

Built for assets that need a fair open: real-world assets, internet capital markets and agent tokens.

How a paced launch runs

  1. 1

    The clock releases supply

At launch the creator publishes an opening tranche and a release rate. From then on, the curve can only give out what the clock has released.

    released(t) = opening + rate × t

  2. 2

    Buys cannot outrun the clock

Every buy passes through the Pacer transfer hook. One that would take more than has been released reverts. Sells return supply and free allowance; wallet transfers pass untouched.

    net sold ≤ released(now)

  3. 3

    It graduates to DAMM v2

When the curve fills, DBC revokes the hook and anyone can migrate the pool into a compounding DAMM v2 pool with all of its liquidity locked for good.

    hook revoked, 100% LP locked

One block should not set the price

On an open bonding curve, whoever lands first can buy most of the supply before anyone else sees the pool. Anti-snipe fees only make that first block more expensive; a bot with enough SOL pays and wins.

Pacer removes the prize instead. The curve only gives out what the schedule has released, so a sweep reverts on-chain and every buyer gets the same chance to price the asset as supply arrives.

Open curvesupply sold over time

A sniper sweeps most of the curve in the first block.

Paced curvesupply sold over time

Buys follow the release line; the sweep reverts.
